Frequently Asked Questions

Does Small Bites accept insurance?

Small Bites is private pay based company. We are not in network with any health insurance companies currently. We will gladly provide you with a super bill at the end of each month for you to submit to your insurance, HSA, or FSA for reimbursement. Reimbursement will depend on your individual health insurance plan.

Does Small Bites provide in home OT services?

Yes. We are currently home-based and complete OT evaluations and treatment sessions in your home or community location. We can also provide services in private schools and daycare depending on their individual policies.

Do you work with older children?

Yes, I have extensive experience supporting children 10 and under. If you have a school aged child who goes to a private school I am able go into their classroom in order to implement accommodations, build supportive routines, and offer targeted one on one support in areas of concern.

Where are you located?

North Raleigh, serving the Raleigh area in the home and community setting.

What if I do not live local?

I have served families virtually for 6 years and find it to be a great platform for feeding therapy services. This is also a great option for immunocompromised children or if your family is sick.

How much do services cost?

A standard session is 60 minutes long and costs $125.

Do you offer any financial assistance?

We do not want finances to be a barrier for anyone to get the help they need. Small Bites is proud to offer a sliding fee scale to assist our families experiencing financial hardship.
